Build Log: Seaspeeder & Dock
painting, weathering, diorama, making water/waves
This is the build log for my custom T-47 Seaspeeder using the Fine Molds 1/48 Snowspeeder and the 1/72 Tamiya M6A1 Seiran floatplane. I had a more detailed walkthrough on Keeper of the Force, but I've copied over everything here for ease of reference. Because I didn't take a lot of pictures, please contact me or leave a comment if you want to know more, particularly about the dock or resin water.

- These are pieces you may want to remove, as they could easily break off (and they don’t mix up easily).
-
- Nearly all the panels were highlighted in some way. Most effects made by acrylics. Sponge chipping on most of the surfaces.
-
- Beginning to pour the 2-part resin water. About 7 layers were poured, each one very thin and tinted with color.
-
- Seaspeeder embedded and frame removed. I had to slice off the water that had crept up the sides, which left it rough.
