Star Wars Galoob Micro Machines scale list

The Galoob Micro Machines line started in the 1980’s as small-scale competitors to larger toys, and included an array of cars, trucks, and military vehicles. In the early to mid 90’s, they expanded to include Star Wars and other sci-fi collectibles. Most vehicles were around 5 cm and made out of a rubbery plastic. The MM line also included figures (1/77th scale) and large playsets that could incorporate dozens of vehicles.

The Star Wars Micro Machines line saw over 100 releases including vehicle packs, figure packs, playsets, transforming head playsets, mini-heads, and random appearances in other lines (like a clear Royal Starship in a Hasbro 3¾” Darth Maul figure).

As with the Action Fleet line, Hasbro discontinued the line by the end of 1999. Still, in 2005-ish, I found several Episode I vehicle packs discounted at a Fred’s Grocery brought back good memories of toy shelves filled top to bottom of these guys with the words “Think Big. Play Small.” etched above.

Hasbro re-introduced this line in 2015 for a few years due to the renewed interest in Star Wars toys.

  1. Loving this site – what an amazing reference resource, thank you. One question – and apologies in advance if it is me not being able to see the wood for the trees (!) but the Galoob fold-out Millennium Falcon playset ship does not seem to appear in this list (i.e. the much larger scale version that the figures could sit in). Do you have an estimate of the real-life relative scale of that vehicle please? Cheers!

    • Thank you for the comment. I don’t have the big Falcon playset. I had it when I was a kid, but never measured it before passing it on. If I had to guess, maybe 1/100 scale
