Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Series 12
2022 Jazwares Action Fleet-inspired line
Here's to some great new molds like the Combat Assault Tank, Hyena Droid, LAAT/le, and Remnant AT-AT.
This is from DC's Ultimate Unofficial Guide. All thanks go to him.
Features:
- Loth-Bat Glider - Ezra
- Zephyr-G Swoop Bike - Bossk
- Zephyr-J Speeder Bike - Din Djarin (not pictured)
- Imperial Speeder Bike (damaged) - IG-11
- BARC Speeder - Wolfpack Clone Trooper
OK, so there's not much here. The best parts are the Bossk figure and Wolfpack Clone. I do like the Lothal Glider, but it's pretty simply and brought back some trauma (IYKYK). Din Djarin is shared with Series 11, so I didn't photograph him again. The IG-11 Speeder Bike is the same as Series 1, but with the Series 4 flaming damage addon.
The Wolfpack Clone is the Chase of this wave (no rare).
Features:
- opening hatch
- rotating side and center turrets (3)
- removable cargo container block
- cargo bed can flip to look smooth
- cargo bed has 3 mounts for speeder bikes
- rolling clear wheels (4)
- poseable Tank Trooper
This is one of my all-time favorite land vehicles, and I LOVE having a miniature of it. It's based on the Alvis Stormer, and I think they did a fantastic job on it. The interior is very spacious. I also love the feature of the cargo bed that can flip and hold 3 speeder bikes if you want. My only complaints are that the hatches don't close, and you only get 1 trooper. I wish you got 2 (which is why I bought 2 when I ordered).
By the way, this is the tracked version from Rogue One, not the hover version from Rebels. There's a history why there's 2 versions, which I'll try to cover in a video.
Features:
- pop-out wings
- wings can pop out and connect vertically for walking mode
- opening bomb hatch
- pop-out droid head on a ball socket for full rotation
- poseable Battle Droid
I really love the Hyena Bomber, and I'm really glad Jazwares did one. It's a massive ship, and very well-detailed. The paintwork and colors are great. You can't really pose it walking because of how complicated it would be to mold that. However, it does have a hidden figure clip in the droid head for playabilty.
Features:
- opening cockpit
- retractable landing gear (3)
- underside button pops up R2 unit
- poseable Qui-Gon Jinn & Astromech
This is from a comic, and I love it. The teal color is so amazing. I also love the green unnamed droid.
Features:
- opening canopy
- pop-up blasters
- retracting rear fin
- retractable landing gear (2)
- poseable General Grievous with removable cape
This may be the first holographic starfighter that I keep. I haven't been too keen on most of them (except the SDCC TIE), but this trans red color is AMAZING. I really really love how it looks. There's also only 2 screws, and you can't even see them from the top. This is an amazing display model. ALSO, Grievous looks badass in red.
Features:
- opening cockpit
- retractable landing gear (3)
- push-button on bottom to pop out R2 unit
- poseable Captain Porter & Astromech
It's not much different than the Series 6, but I love the pilot and droid. If you look closely, the thrusters are more teal in this release.
Features:
- opening cockpit
- rotating wings (2)
- rotating cockpit pod
- retractable landing gear
- opening bay doors (2)
- pop-off upper hatch
- total seating for 9 plus a droid
- poseable Darth Maul & Rook Kast
I NEVER expected that would make such an obscure (and short-lived) ship, but I am so glad they did. Maul: Shadow Lord has been an absolute blast of a show, and I'm glad it's getting some love. The colors, paint, weathering - everything is just spot-on. And the detail is sublime. You get 3 seats in the cockpit plus a droid peg. But you also get 6 figure holders in the deployment belly thingy (what do you call that). Kast looks great, but Maul is amazing...bare-chested beast.
Features:
- opening cockpit
- rotating heavy laser cannons (2)
- legs have 3 points of articulation
- opening top section with seats
- opening mid section with spot for INT-4
- opening rear section with AT-RT seating
- inner elevator lifts figure
- top button makes AT-AT walking noise or Imperial siren
- side-button makes blaster noise and lights up side-blasters
- button under INT-4 makes lift-off noise when pressed
- maybe more features I missed?
- poseable Imperial Officer, Snowtrooper, & AT-AT pilot (2)
The AT-AT/P, Remnant AT-AT, or Joe Johnston's badass boy is a really cool design. Jazwares did a great job with this one. The paint application really highlights all the panels shaded different colors. I also LOVE the lights and sounds. There is a lot of light-bleed around the cockpit, but you could paint some of the interior to eliminate that. Legs articulate a little smoother than the original AT-AT. Speaking of, at 1/92 scale, it looks perfect next to the AT-AT (1/94) in scale. Figures are a very nice touch with darker weathering overall. The only exception is the Snowtrooper, which I wish had the open face design.
Features:
- same features as previous U-wing
- INT-4 features opening cockpit, wings, and movable cannon
- poseable Zeb, Din Djarin (with Grogu backpack), and Remnant Snowtrooper
The real draw of this set is the INT-4, which is really detailed for the size. I love all the paintwork. It looks much better than my prototype. However, the U-wing also looks really good. The paint is a much lighter blue than the other "blue" versions. Figures are good, but the Remnant Snowtrooper looks the best.

If you pop the wings off of the Hyena Bomber, it actually has slots to rotate the wings 90 degrees and have it standing on them. You can’t quite get the same dynamic look as with the normal Vulture Droids, but still nice that the feature is there.
Yes, thank you. I just saw that on Kevin’s video. Somehow totally missed that feature.
Ah, I see! I discovered it just now on accident while trying to see if the wings popped off, as I had thought about trying to do some modding. I wonder if the original plan was to include a landed set of winds like with the Vulture droids but it was scrapped due to budget? It seems odd that they have the slots for them but the box doesn’t advertise it at all.
You know, that’s a very good point. They did that with the Vulture. Thank you for spotting my oops. If you see any more mistakes, please comment or email me. Best!
