Star Wars Micro Machines Mini Heads

Some of the more unique offerings from Galoob's classic line are the Micro Machines Mini Heads. These 3-packs featured heads of famous characters that opened to a small diorama with reliefs and a unique figure. Usually, these figures had holes in the base to connect to the diorama for display.

Galoob released 2 large sets, each containing a unique Mini Head not seen in the 3-packs. The first set had Darth Vader, and the second had C-3PO.

Lastly, Pizza Hut included individually wrapped Mini Heads in some of their kid meals around 1998. You could find some of the rarer ones this way, including C-3PO.

Over the years, these have become some of my favorite collectibles. While they offer no play value, I really admire the intricate details and how they captured the scenes in something so small. Check out the artwork of other unreleased Mini Heads here.
