Highlights:

  • Whitewash scheme
  • muddy tracks

The Build

This was a simple out of the box build of Dragon's 1/72 Tiger I early. I used Mig Ammo Washable white paint, which worked pretty well. I used water and a Q-tip to remove excess white.

For weathering, I used several thinned enamel washes to tone down the white. Then I used AK Dark Mud with plaster and pigments to make mud.

History

This early Tiger I served in Army Group North as part of the Leningrad siege. It sports a winter white-wash camouflage scheme.
