Star Wars Micro Machines Vehicle Sets

Classic Trilogy 3-packs of Starships and Vehicles

The Original 3-Packs

These Star Wars Micro Machines 3-packs started it all for my collecting of Star Wars miniatures. Initially limited to 3 sets for each original film, Galoob went on to release 15 vehicle sets between 1994 and 1998. Each pack contained 3 ships, stats, and clear stands for the flying vehicles. Moreover, the earlier cards featured images of the original ILM models, which also sparked my interest in modeling. Later cards switched to the orange background.

The 2 sets with battle-damaged starfighters came with clear flight sticks for swooshing instead of stands. The final 2 sets didn't come with stands at all.
