Disney Probe-Mate Hyperspace Pod

The Disney Probe-Mate Hyperspace Pod really surprised me. It's the first ever accurate Hyperspace Pod or Probe-Mate Pod. You can see one of the photos includes a comparison to the original Tamiya sd.kfz 232 hull piece that ILM used for that version (2 versions were made). It is very close to being studio scale.

The Hyperspace Pod has a button in the thruster that pops open the pod itself. The Probe Droid inside is on a clear stand that attaches to the pod. Now, the Probe itself is really amazing. The legs pretty much fully articulate, and even the blaster and head swivel. It's one of the best Probe Droids as well.

The Probe Droid is 1/18 scale to fit with the figures, so I'm assuming the Pod is 1/18 as well.
