I seem to remember a set that was all droids. Am I nuts?
No not nuts, you’re thinking of Collection VI from the Episode I line of Micros.
Hmm, no, I am remembering a special box set with a variety of droid figs from the trilogy, including background ones. That said, I’m not 100% sure it was Micro Machines, that’s just the mental vibe my brain attached to the packaging – the back had little info blurbs about each one. I’ll go do some research and comment back later.
Oh, well that was easy. They were MM, but under the action fleet line (Micro Machines Action Fleet Space, Star Wars Droids) not these on card figure packs. I loved these by the way, and I owned most of them. I think you’re right on that Galoob was really willing to go off the beaten path with Star Wars, and as a big fan, that was really exciting.
Yes. I had forgotten about that set, but I have it photographed. I keep it under Action Fleet because it was the first to have larger figures. https://www.rebelscale.com/action-fleet/classic/droids/
