So I had a few people comment on primers, particularly difficulty in finding Tamiya Grey in the rattle can - my TOP tier primer. I have used and loved Mr. Finishing Surfacer Black 1500. Lately, I've turned to Mr. Mahogany Surfacer 1000. It's like a hair less smooth IMO than the 1500. However, I love the color as a basecoat for terrain, rust, darkened panels, etc. It's not a dead as black, but it still gives a lot of depth when you paint over it. Now, I'm spraying outside, mild temps, mild humidity. If it was colder or less humid, I would warm the can up in warm water first. But it worked well today, and even attached to a few of the PLA hairs that the print has, which I need to trim. Enjoy!
