Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Series 11

2022 Jazwares Action Fleet-inspired line

We know that the Clone Wars Y-wing and ROTJ A-wing are slated for this series. Additionally, we're getting 2 new Razor Crest repaints for the upcoming movie, as well as several battle packs. The concept AT-AT models, Patrol Gunships, Hyena Bomber, and Occupier Assault Tank are slated for later series I believe.

This is from DC's Ultimate Unofficial Guide. All thanks go to him.

Series 11 Blinds

Features:

  • Rawlings TK5 Speeder Bike - Hunter
  • Zephyr-G Swoop Bike - Anakin Skywalker
  • Zephyr-J Speeder Bike - Din Djarin
  • BARC Speeder - Clone Trooper (Phase II)
  • Undicur Jumpspeeder - Obi-Wan Kenobi

They've cut down the number of blinds, and several are re-releases. However, I love the Rawlings speeder bike with Hunter. It's highly detailed and looks awesome. I also love the Zephyr-G swoop and Anakin from AOTC. Other figures and ships are re-releases.

Obi-Wan on the Jumpspeeder is the Chase of this series.

BTL-B Y-wing

Features:

  • opening canopy
  • rotating turret
  • retractable landing gear (3)
  • removable side panel
  • removable rear panel
  • push-button on bottom to pop out R2 unit
  • poseable Captain Rex & R2 Astromech

I am so glad we got the Clone Y-wing, especially in blue from Season 7 of Clone Wars. The details are fantastic, although it is a tad bit short. There's still plenty of room for pilot, gunner, and R2. The best part is that the internal details that match the classic Y-wing perfectly. I tried to highlight these in one of the pics. Jazwares did a phenomenal job matching greeblies.

RZ-1 A-wing

Features:

  • opening canopy
  • retractable landing gear
  • poseable A-wing Pilot

I am so happy they gave us an accurate RZ-1 A-wing. And for the most part, I am happy with it. It's a great size, with great detail. But it's a thicc boi. I really wish they had made it thinner - and maybe allowed the laser cannons to rotate like the Action Fleet one.

Fiend Fighter (Seatos)

Features:

  • opening canopy
  • clear display stand
  • poseable Star Navigator Guard

I love getting another version of the Fiend Fighter. As expected, this one lacks the wing claws but adds a tail fin. On mine, the tail fin can be popped out pretty easily. The figure isn't much, but it's unique.

Pirate Snub Fighter (battle damage)

Features:

  • opening cockpit
  • retractable landing gear (3)
  • poseable Klatooinian Pirate

It's a reissue that's only really worth it for the figure. The paint/mold colors are different, though only slightly. And you get some blast marks.

RZ-1 A-wing (Holographic)

Features:

  • opening canopy
  • retractable landing gear
  • poseable A-wing Pilot

There's something about simple shapes that look so cool in trans blue plastic.

Mando's N-1 (Armada)

Features:

  • opening cockpit
  • retractable landing gear (3)
  • poseable Din Djarin (removable jetpack)

There's very little difference between the old and new. Some of the open areas have added chrome in between the darker gunmetal paint. The chrome seems a little more on the yellow/brown side. Figure is the same. Luckily, I was able to pop off the clear dome holding Grogu, so now I have a mini-Grogu figure separate from the ship.

Razor Crest (Movie Version)

Features:

  • opening canopy
  • retractable landing gear (3)
  • opening side-door
  • opening rear ramp
  • pop-off engine hatch
  • pop-off side panel
  • pop-off top panel
  • rotating carbonite bounty (mounts in 2 positions)
  • opening wall-side carbonite chamber traps figures
  • cockpit seats 3
  • poseable Din Djarin (removable jetpack/Grogu) & Zeb (Adelphi version only)
  • Adelphi version has additional thruster and blaster effects

It's nice having a new Razor Crest, though I prefer the dirtier, beat-up original. If you're going for one of these, get the Adelphi version. It has a cool Rebel base background, blaster/thruster effects, and of course, ZEB!!!

Yes, the plastic color is slightly different between the 2 versions. Everything else is the same.

Y-wing vs TIE Bomber

Features:

  • same features as previous TIE Bomber and Y-wing
  • poseable TIE Pilot, Dex Tiree & R5-T3 "Sparks"

I love that they took the famous "Red Jammer" Y-wing and made a repaint out of it. Technically, this Y-wing wasn't even in the movie, so Dex wasn't the pilot. But it's nice to get new figures anyway. The TIE Bomber is the same as the Armada but with blaster scoring.

Maul's Shadow Collective

Features:

  • Maul's Nightbrother is the similar to Series 7, but with slightly different colors and battle damage
  • Fang Fighters feature much brighter colors than Series 6
  • poseable Darth Maul & 2 Mandalorian Pilots

This is a pricey repaint set, but it's great if you didn't get the ships previously. Plus, the figure repaints look great. The female Mandalorian (who could pass for Rook Kast) is a repaint of Sabine.

Imperial Battle Pack

Features:

  • E-WEB is the same as Series 3
  • AT-ST is the same as the Series 10, but with lighter wash
  • TIE Striker is the same as Series 8, but with darker laser cannons
  • poseable TIE Pilot, AT-ST Driver, Stormtrooper

I wanted to get it to see the differences, but there aren't really any. The laser cannons on the wings and under the hull of the TIE Striker are darker. Now, the wings have better attachments points but still don't line up perfectly. Everything else is pretty much identical to earlier releases.

  1. For anyone interested the BTL Y Wing and Jedi A-Wing are up on Amazon, shipping later this month.

  2. Are we only getting chases this series? No rares? I haven’t been able to find anything on those.

        • It wasn’t so much an announcement, but the cardbacks no longer show rares. I’m not sure about Vault sets. They are due several right now, so maybe we’ll get an announcement soon.
